Debra Hren, Esq

Hren Tenzler Legal Search LLC, was founded by Debra Hren who has 20 years in the legal search business. She specializes in partner and practice group placements working with many of the most prestigious law firms in the US and around the world. Debra is highly respected by her clientele and, because of her expertise in attracting top tier talent, generally performs searches on an exclusive basis. Prior to starting Hren Tenzler Legal Search, Debra ran her own firm with a partner for 10 years focusing on partner groups and firm combinations, after leaving a large global legal recruiting firm. Debra had been an Executive Senior Partner during her tenure at the firm whereby she was the top producer each year from 2004 to 2008.

Debra received her law degree from the University of Houston in 1991. After graduation, she practiced medical malpractice law at a Houston law firm for 7 years.

Debra is an active member in good standing of the Texas Bar Association. She gives local t.v. interviews from time to time discussing the legal recruiting marketplace. Additionally, she has participated as a roundtable panelist for
The Texas Lawyer.

Prior to law school, Debra was a trauma nurse having received her degree in nursing from Seton Hall University.

Debra is committed to giving back to the community. She has been involved in philanthropic work for 20 years with VICTORY a fundraising branch of the American Cancer Society. VICTORY has raised over $30 million since 1988.

Debra was born and raised in the New York City metropolitan area and currently resides in Houston, Texas with her husband and nine-year old twins.
