Thomas Hren

Thomas Hren joins Hren-Tenzler Legal Search as a business manager, business development and marketing consultant with over 30 years of national and international work experience. With over 15 years experience managing difficult projects in a number of locations around the globe, he has a proven track record of getting the job done and doing so with team work. For the last five (5) years he provided thought leadership in the area of capital project valuations fro a major Oil & Gas company. He has been recognized as a subject matter expert by his peer’s in the area of capital project valuation and as a result was invited to speak at the November 2015 Performance Forum Annual Meeting. In addition, he received the prestigious Technical Excellence Award from the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International (AACE) in July of 2015, in recognition of his work in peer reviewing over 125 technical papers submitted for publication and presentation.

Thomas brings creativity and a strategic vision to help Hren-Tenzler grow its core business. He has been known for his flexible problem solving and decision making skills. A teambuilder who elicits high performance from diverse cross functional teams. An experienced business management professional with strong analytical skills, committed to improving business processes through a keen understanding of causal effectiveness drivers, and with passion for record of continuous process improvement.

Thomas received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston in 1996; and received his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado in 1981. He is a registered Professional Engineering (PE); a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Associate Value Specialist (AVS) – all registrations and certifications are in good standing. Thomas also serves on the Technical Board of AACE.

Thomas is originally from Colorado and currently resides in Texas with his wife and their two children.
